But if I have to nitpick about something, it's that the picture has a little 2-Dimensional feel to it. But you can work that out with stronger shadings and lighting.
The jacket should also have a little bit of flow on it. Now it looks a bit like it's frozen still.
Anyway, you use colours very nicely, and there are some really nice shadings here and there. The little mistakes you've made are exactly the same that I've been through too.
Just keep drawing and I'm sure you will get better and better. In fact, you are already better than I was at your age.
All my pics looks like 2D. Sometimes I push myself harder and then I can get another result, but anyting more different from what you can see in the pic above. But I'll try some diffrent shadings.~
Yep, now that you've said, the jacket really looks like frozen. Oh gosh. Well, we learn with our mistakes, right?
I don't like the way I colour my pics, but I try to do my best.
I'll have to draw a lot to learn, but thank you for pointing the mistakes.
Oh yes, the character is Kurama from Yu Yu Hakusho, and he's a man.
By the way, have you ever tried mirroring the pictures you've drawn?
You can watch it backwards against a strong light, flip it with a computer or just simply look at it through a real mirror. That way you'll get a new view to your art and it helps you to sort out most of the mistakes that would otherwise be invisible to your eye.
And don't say that you don't like the way you colour your pictures. Personally I hated my own colourings too. But since I just kept practising, now I've actually started to like my odd drawing style.
